Hand made baskets

Thanks for your helpful site. I would like to ask a question about how to think about the labor involved in making a handmade basket...here's the problem: It takes about 4-5 hours to weave 9for example) a large apple basket, stain it, & get it ready to sell at a craft fair. By the we add in shopping for supplies, setting up a booth, manning it for the duration of the craft fair, (10-16 hours), tearing down, cleaning up etc., there is no way you can sell a basket like this for enough money to cover labor costs. The cost of the material would be about $7.00-$8.00, and the basket would sell for $18.00 -$20.00. Should I just think of the time spent making the basket as "entertainment" or "leisure time" rather than actual labor?
