Bob,
I don't know which version, but it came loaded on the pc with winME. I uninstalled it, bought Norton's 2001. This was about 17/18 months ago. Which version do you have? Does it have the option to manually check for updates? Thanks.
Trisha

: Don't know what version you have. I get automatic notices whenever there is an update available. Pops up at least once a week. Also had it alert me to a bad email about 6 months ago, and I just clicked on the "delete" option and went on. Also go a complete update to the software about a week ago (at no extra charge). Costs me $39.95 a year.
: Had a bad experience with Norton years ago, and have avoided them ever since. Never tried anything else.

: : : I like McAfee.

: : Bob,
: : Just how do you get it to check email? I was never able to get it to do so. Checking the corporate thing didn't work either. And there were never any updates. Has it improved in the last 18 months?

: : : : : : And I could go on. Thanks, Trisha, for reminding us that we ought to be careful of where we step in this Brave New World of cyberspace.

: : : : : After spending bookoo bucks getting this out of the pc hospital last year, from 3 trojans and 3-4 others that overwrote the anti-virus software, I take extreme caution. If posting a reminder saves someone heartache and bucks, I'm all for it.

: : : : : Now here's another one you can go download. Trojan and bot remover at www.lockdowncorp.com. Very user friendly! Looking for a new firewall. Any suggestions besides ZA?
