The art versus craft argument is a little tired here in the 21st Century. We speak of eloquent objects -- their worth and value (different concepts). The whole issue got a little skewed when Voulkos punched holes in a vase a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away and called it a vessel.

Crafts "may" be functional or not. Paintings are always "not." Is that your distinction? And where do painters who sell lithos fit into your scheme of things? And if you think this web site is about popcicle stick trivets, then you really haven't spent any time here!
