: I just bought a computer.I am a potter with unique work and little computer know-how.I had a bad first year of craftshows.I am not one to repeat pieces and need a site that is large with a way to easily control inventory????????yadda yadda yadda, search engines????
: I need advice

I have a web site I made myself with no previous experience.( www.cass-industries.com ) You can check it out if you wish and if you'd like to get a web site of your own, I have one of my pages on how to get your own web site. The cost was $25 set-up and $100 per year for a complete do-it-yourself program.

They have a beginners website builder as well as an advanced web builder program with thorough tutorial and tech support included, plus 35MEG space. If you need more space than that you can get more than one 35MEG site as you need it for the same cost and link them together.

I also bought my own domain name through ( www.buydomains.com ) for $32 for two years and redirect to my main web site URL which could change anytime if desired but customers would still use my domain name. You also do not have anyone elses advertising to share on your web site.

The web host is planning on adding availability of on-line auctions, domain name and shopping cart soon at an additional cost of about $35 per year, so you could take orders using credit cards etc.
